Operation Exodus II is a multi-agency drug operation which concluded Friday, June 29th  with the service of 6 search warrants, all served simultaneously at 6:30 a.m.

Three of the search warrants were served in Hibiscus Park, two in other areas of Key Largo and one in Homestead. Detectives working the case had outstanding state and federal warrants for 27 people, primarily on drug charges. As of 9 a.m. Friday, 21 of those who were wanted were in custody and the operation was still ongoing with more people expected to be arrested.

The case itself is being headed up by the DEA and the U.S. Attorney's Office, but a large portion of the investigation was performed by the Sheriff's Special Investigation.
