The Special Weapons and Tactics team held two training sessions in June of 2005, one at Gerald Adams Elementary School and one at the Holiday Inn Beachside. They practiced entries at the school and were able to practice forced entry procedures at the Holiday Inn Beachside, which was in the process of being torn down and rebuilt at the time.
