Smuggling vessel captured July 1st, 2002 on the Atlantic side of Big Pine Key. Assisting in the capture was the Sheriff's Office, U.S. Coast Guard, Border Patrol and the Big Pine Fire Department. Two smuggler's were arrested by Border Patrol, and 15 migrants were taken into custody.
